The good thing is that you can start over and make the right choices, it won't take you too long to get it right. Sound: The audio in this game is a pleasant surprise, as it even has its own themes with vocals and nice composition.
Normally when you have a crush, you tell your best friend. But what happens when your best friend is your crush? The developers at BlackMonkey Pro try their best to tell this tale in Sleepover. The story of Sleepover is told from the perspective of Haruyuki Kano. It certainly paints a picture of him as the instigator in this story, but more on that later. Kano is on his way to meet with his best friend, Sato Hideaki Aki , at the arcade, where they plan to play games and hang out.
Opposite of Kano, Aki comes off as rigid and stoneface, but seems much more responsible. Kano loves these traits about Aki. This is evident in how Kano reacts to seeing Aki at the arcade at the very start of the game.
Aki on the other hand, seems to look at Kano as a younger brother. You can tell Kano really appreciates the care Aki puts into their relationship. This only strengthens his belief that there might be something more between them. When they leave the arcade, a rainstorm quickly approaches and they find themselves stuck in it. A short and sweet otome game with a cute twist.
Fox Lee. Dream Savior Gakuen - ReDraw. Till Death Do Us Part. In this spiritual successor to the BTD, you're married to some horrible people. Grand Core Release [ Ver]. Harry Potter and the Mysterious Thief part I. Rivars Studio. The story of a prince who doesn't want to get married. Defeat the evil lurking in Castle Of N'Mar. However, his lack of courage and timidity hinders him to show his true feelings. You have in your hands the fate of this young love. That is literally all there is to the story!
During the flashback, we see the pair as children experiencing their very first sleepover, but not much else is explained.
Which is sad, because that was a really good opportunity for the writers to give some meaning to the relationship between the two male leads. He pretty much took everything Kano did in stride which was downright disappointing. But the cherry on top of this train wreck was most definitely the gratuitous amount of grammatical errors and typos.
And before you all start asking, no this was not a translation, this is an English language only release, so there is no excuse for the writing being so messy. But, despite my complaints about the characters, the plot, and the writing there was one silver-lining. The artwork in this game was simply gorgeous, it almost made all the other crap worth it! The backgrounds were vibrant and full of fun details, the background artist really took their job seriously and that extra effort really shows, most notably during the arcade scene.
Even the character sprites were well done, each sprite came with various expressions which were unique to each character. I only have one complaint about the sprites, each character had just one pose.
